The region stretches 2 miles from the center of the scenic Grand River from the mouth of the river in Fairport Harbor to Rt. 45 in Saybrook, within 14 miles inland of the shore of Lake Erie. The growing climate is unique within the larger Lake Erie AVA due to unique benefits of the lake’s thermal protection from temperature fluctuations and unique air drainage that provides frost protection within the valley. Viticulture has thrived in this region. The unique terroir and ideal growing conditions are the basis of the world-class wines produced at Debonné Vineyards.
Not a wine drinker, no problem. Double Wing Brewing Co. is the beer division of Debonné Vineyards. Quality craft beers, made in our onsite brewing facility. The beer bar inside the winery at Debonné Vineyards features 12 taps with signature Double Wing brews and seasonal selections that vary. Our nitro tap is available for smooth, creamy Imperial Stout. The beer bar offers Double Wing Beers by the pint, pitcher and sample, as well as beer tasting flights to find your favorite brew. Numerous options are available to take home your favorites: growler fills, fresh-poured 32oz carryout cans sealed with our Crowler machine and a fully-stocked carry-out cooler with an assortment of Double Wing products in 12 & 16oz cans.
